It does, doesn’t it? We must avoid that sort of future! I am sure I could, but it’s kind of difficult when you don’t really remember how it feels to be a kid, you know? It’s a funny feeling. She does? Oh, I bet that is entertaining! My grandma is… special. Yells a lot, even when she’s complimenting people. It’s really funny. But that doesn’t make sense if you actually like cooking. Surely you should be allowed to do the things you like during your vacation, right?

I don’t think I would either, as I’m usually quite simply there on the concept of holiday excitement. That sounds like it was fun then. You’ll have to have a wonderful one this year. Thanksgiving was amazing, and I didn’t cook any of it, much to my dismay. Take that back, I made brownies, but that was all I was allowed to do.

Police officers going around making sure you smile just the right amount and not a day too early. It was, yes! I am sure Christmas a whole lot more exciting as a kid, but it would be nice to feel that way again. I hope I will. I’ll be going home, so I am sure there will be a whole lot drama as well, since my relatives are kind of… They have big personalities. You didn’t? That must have been stressful for you! Oh good, good, at least you were allowed to make those. I would feel so out of place if I were told to just sit back and watch everyone else doing things.

I don’t think I would like that sort of a world very much. Too stressful all over. I do! It’s the only thing we ever really celebrated when I was growing up, so it’s special. Oh! How was your Thanksgiving?
